Your alignment machine includes a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot that allows your tablet to communicate directly with the system. If your tablet isn’t connecting automatically, or you’re setting it up for the first time, follow the steps below.
Before You Begin
Make sure your alignment machine is powered on and fully booted. The hotspot will not appear until the system has completed its startup cycle.
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
1. Power on the Alignment Machine
Turn on the machine.
Allow up to one full minute for the system to finish booting and activate the internal hotspot.
2. Open the Wi-Fi Settings on the Tablet
On your tablet, go to:
Settings → Internet / Wi-Fi
Different tablet models may use slightly different wording, but the Wi-Fi menu will be located in the device’s main settings.
3. Look for the Alignment Machine’s Hotspot
In the list of available networks, look for a hotspot labeled:
Av9
Av6
These names may vary slightly depending on your model, but AV8 is not used and should not appear.
4. Select the Hotspot
Tap the correct network name to begin connecting.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi Password
When prompted, enter the default password:
11111111
(Eight number ones.)
6. Confirm the Tablet Is Connected
Once the tablet reports a successful connection:
Return to the main operating screen on the tablet, or
Return to the machine’s monitor interface
Your tablet is now paired with the alignment machine and ready for use.
If the Hotspot Doesn’t Appear
Make sure the machine is fully powered on — not just in standby.
Wait the full 60 seconds for the hotspot to activate.
Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on again on your tablet.
Ensure you are within a reasonable distance of the machine.
