If your scissor lift has no power, follow these steps to check the voltage supply.
KATOOL scissor lifts use either 110V or 220V input power, only the hydraulic pump and step-down transformers are different. All control components run on a 27V AC circuit supplied by the transformer.
Visual Flowchart is included with this article for reference.
Step 1 — Check for Control Power
●Plug in the lift and turn the power switch ON.
✅ Power light is on:
The control panel has power. Contact Technical Support.
❌ No power light:
Continue below.
Step 2 — Check the Circuit Breaker
●Check and reset the breaker supplying the outlet.
●These lifts may draw 30A or more. A dedicated circuit is recommended.
✅ Power returns: Issue solved
❌ Still no power: Continue
Step 3 — Check Transformer Input (1–2)
●Measure voltage at terminals 1–2.
●Expected: 110V or 220V AC (model dependent)
❌ Incorrect or no voltage:
The issue is before the lift (outlet, cord, or supply).
✅ Correct voltage present: Continue
Step 4 — Check Transformer Output (3–4)
●Measure voltage at terminals 3–4.
●Expected: 27V AC
✅ 27V present: Contact Technical Support
❌ Low or no voltage: Continue
Step 5 — Transformer Fuse or Replacement
●If equipped, replace the transformer fuse (see image).
●If no fuse is present, the transformer must be replaced.
